Buss Problems Anyone See This in 7.2.1?

Mac Pro, 7.2.1

Assign 3 or 4 vocal tracks out a buss. Make an AUX with that buss as it's input.

No sound gets to the Aux track.

Delete Aux track, make new Aux track.

This time it works.

Now, during a bounce to disk, I mute the AUX track so I can do a mix with no backing vocals.

I still hear the backing vocals even though the AUX is muted.

Have to mute each individual tracks to keep it from sounding.

Corrupt databases? Repair Permissions? Any tricks??

it's digital

and that's a good thing on a certain level

i mean...with digital it either thinks its on or off.....this time it was off so you recreated and this time is it ON.

There is another thread that discusses losing buss sends here , but the issue of having it muted and still getting audio isn't a problem for those posters.

I think the problem you have is related to the plug-ins on your aux return, and I am guessing that they are Waves. Are there plugs on your aux return?

I know this might be obvious, but make sure that your plugs are up to date, and do all of the usual troubleshooting.

No not obnoxious, and you know what, I think I had an SSL Waves instance on the AUX.....I'll go check out the thread too...
