Mid frequency hissing when connecting MPC 1000
Hello guys I get a strange mid frequency hissing sound any time I connect my mpc 1000 to my PC to record on pro tools 9.. I've done trouble shooting tried other instruments but it only persists when I use my MPC 1000. I started trouble shooting with the MPC 1000 got new audio cables still the hissing, I unplugged it while off the sound goes away I plug it back in and the sound returns. I bought a new adapter chord thinking I solved the problem but no still hissing. I can play my mp-7 drum machine and my keyboards no hissing.... Any ideas as to how to solve this problem guys? please and thank you. The sound plays back after recording, was just hired by a client to produce tracks for an album and this is very troubling...

Re: Mid frequency hissing when connecting MPC 1000
I figured it out with some troubleshooting. The outlet I was plugged into wasn't grounded I plugged grounded adapters in to the outlets problem solved
