Default does this work ? : PT24mix SCSI chain and Akai samplers !!!

Hi,
I have to install a PT III -> 24mix upgrade for a friend of mine but wan't to know if anybody here has made some experience in integrating a Akai S 3000 sampler into the UW-SCSI chain of the ATTO PSC single SCSI card and the SCSI HD's used by Protools 24Mix ?

The Akai S3000 has to be the active end termination and is only narrow SCSI.

Currently the Akai works fine on the ATTO card but the PT III system uses it's own Disk I/O card to access the HD's, this setup must change with the PT24mix upgrade.

In the end a dual head SCSI card could help for sure, but first I'd like to have some knowledge from other users here....

btw. the Akai Sampler is connected via SCSI to the b&w G3/OS 8.6 to use Steinbergs ReCycle 1.7.....

thanks for any suggestions

best,

Henry
