Yeh i almost bought that bundle (PT8LE)
That is sellers advertising the bundle "with the latest PT software" and not amending it. They plead ignorance

Its becoming a lottery now with Avid. When to purchase etc.

I have been using protools since my original M-powered system but I can not rationalize spending $500 just to have an GUI for the 11R.

I have now moved onto Logic with this new Mac and I don't see myself turning back...Most likely I will end up selling my 11R for an Axe-FX.

after a epic computer crash last week, i am sort of in the same boat. i'm planning to use my old lap tap for the 11r so i can use the editor and create rigs/patches.

my sequencer of choise is cubase and i was playing around with the idea to switch to pro tools. from my limited use i cannot justify the cost to upgrade to protools 10 on my new computer. i desperatly want a stand alone editor and a liberary program program so i can arrange/rearrange my patches for different gigging situations.

after about 50 gigs my wishlist for new features for 11r has surely changed
