BassGrinder Plugin in Pro Tools 8
Hello there!
So today I installed the BassGrinder Free plugin which is a plugin that sounds as a electric bass, it includes a RTAS version to make it work in Pro Tools. The problem is that Pro Tools recognizes it as a "effect" instead of a "instrument" and when I hit play it just doesn't play my midi audio. How do I get it to work? Thank you for your time!!

Well, with an Amp Simulator you would usually plug your real bass guitar in and play through the amp sim plugin.
I guess you could route bass tones from Xpand through it.
