Yo guys, man, Kenny beat me to the punch! lol yep, we were hanging out at O'hara's and listening to him throw down some groove with these hip cats. It was great to finally meet him, the music was tight, the G's were plenty cold, and oh.. Andrew.. dude you gotta sit on that club's front porch... but had one awesome time hanging out. I will post pics later caus I have a poor net connection this morning but I have a ton of them to share.

I see your perspective on the "album" feel !
Are you playing everything ? Is there real vocals ? All live players, I'm hoping...
Our stuff is single oriented, and mixed for radio...although there is an underlying thread of boy-girl-love thing...

You have a record company backing you up for the release or is it a DIY thing?
It's all my time/work and the main writer's pocket change so far. I'll use my connections, once she's ready..but you very well know how the game has changed.

I'm neither a Dog or a born Canadian....

have fun !!

There is only one choice I can see there..
Oh..the "accent" thing..Just talked with Danji yesterday and (to me ) he sounded "normal"
The heaviest was Keith Owens's talk. Took me a while to adjust
The cleanest, most articulate oral English (this side of the Atlantic) was spoken by "The Weed" and "Vocalvoodoo ". No surprise there, they're both professional VO talents !

Don't drink & dive !!
later,
nigel

Yes indeed I did notice his accent, but one of my drummers buddy's is from Minny-Sota...so I am used to it. My only regret is that I did not have more time to hang with penguino. Ruth took a couple of good shots of us drinkig that Guinness stuff. Charlie is probally reeling from a sunburn after experiencing this intense Florida sun in August.

cool,

kenny

I have had a few rules for this album. One is that I wouldn't take any outside help on the recording or mixing. I was thinking of mastering it myself first as well, but since a very experienced fellow have agreed to help me out with it for free I'll take that route. So yes, I play it all, strings, keys, percussion, sings...

I KNEW IT! I just knew it in my heart that you were a fan of Backstreet Boys Andrew!
