I don't know why, some of my session will always pop-up the following message. and if it pops up, i can no long record or save this session. even if i create a new session and import the session data into the new one, this problem will follow to the new one. this problem just been found after updating to Pro Tools 7.x.

Neo Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/Altura Ports/SDKs/Neo 61/Liabraries/Macintosh/Environments/Alone/.../.../.../.../Source/CNeo/node", Line 1242

my system configuration is:

PowerMac G4 Duo 1.25GHz CPU
1.5GB Ram
80G system drive and 160G drive for audio. all mac journal formated
Pro Tools 7.3.1 CS2 (which is the latest, but i also have this problem when using 7.3)
Mac OS X 10.4.9 (i updated from 10.4 using the 10.4.9 update combo for PPC version)

Please start with the steps in the OS X Setup and General Troubleshooting sticky at the top of this forum, specifically those areas on trashing preference and database files.

I am experiencing the same exact issues that seemed to arrive after updating to PT7.3.
I seem to get the error while I'm recording and when I do Protools crashes and I lose
whatever I was recording on that pass. I will try all the suggestions from the moderator
hopefully they will work.

I got this a few times this last week... trashing the Digi databases on each drive and Repairing Permissions fixed it.

This happens when you start your external hard disk and you have the ProTools open! Sometimes the session turns to BLANK!!!!!! Don't worry you can find everything.
