Default audiosuite handles?

i'm sure this has been covered before. but is there any particular reason why we can't get handles for audiosuite plug-in processing? so when i time compress/expand a clip, i can still trim it out?

It should be an option in the audiosuite plug-in to either process the selected region or the whole file. I worked on a prisma system 12 years ago that did this. My workaround is to just open up the handles, process, and then retrim. What a pain. I wish this feature could be added.

yes, or at least a preference to apply to a certain length of handles.

I have wanted that feature for about 12 years. How hard could it be?

I'll sign the petition too.
I've been asking for this for years.
