Default Now for a different type of track

Here is a late 60's song I've been working on and I thought you'd like to hear something different. It has no MIDI or samples. Real drums. It is a track done from all across the country.

The basic tracks are from a live recording I did in December 2002 on 16 tracks of ADAT. The other tracks were added by others from Florida to Colorado to Southern California. It has grown to around 40 tracks. I have added over 10 vocal tracks, two maracas tracks, tambourine, cowbell, dual acoustic guitars and a bit of editing.

Interesting note is that the harmonies were done separately: they did not hear each other as they were laying down the tracks. I don't know what software they used. I just sent them basic tracks as a WAVE file and the sent be back their WAVE files and it all blended just fine.

Careful, it has a lot of compression and is very thick. It does not sound like other tracks I have heard on this DUC.

You may find it interesting.
