2 Copies - Couldn't merge the changes

I get this notice every time I add a new track or insert a new plugin. New copies do not have track presets or sessions templates:

You now have two copies of a folder
We couldn't merge the changes to "Pro Tools-RIX-STUDIO-2" so we created another copy of it.

Probably a set up error but I have not been able to correct it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I've read this thru 5 times and I have to admit I have no idea what you are asking or describing(so maybe I'm not the only one). Also, its nearly impossible to offer any advice with absolutely zero details on your setup. Look in the top dark area for a link named Help Us Help You. Have a good read and come back with full details on your setup(its impossible to give too much info)

You're not alone. Just adding a track does not create a new template or track preset nor does adding a plug-in to an insert, so not sure what the ask is here - or why a new folder would be created. Maybe if the OP, in addition to adding more info per the "Help Us Help You" link, gave a detailed description of what he's actually doing and how might give us a clue.
