500Mb is laughable though. wetransfer.com does 2Gb absolutely free.

and google gives you 100GB for like 1 dollar a month.

Considering that, and considering also that Cloud Collaboration seems to be in a Beta Test stage, Avid should consider using Google cloud services for user project storage. 100 GB is a more reasonable storage space for digital audio projects- 500 MB is almost laughable.

And Avid should also consider that if they want Cloud Collaboration to really take off, they should provide a multi-level service, the entry level being free to all PT users, perhaps evolving as the product matures, with pay levels corresponding to cloud storage space and/or monthly bandwidth on each PT user's account.

I realize that there are technical issues to overcome, but come on! Encourage PT users to use Cloud Collaboration by removing as many barriers as possible, i.e. start on a no-cost basis for the user. We're already subscribing to Pro Tools. Cloud Collaboration should actually be included.

I made a ticket to avid , they did make me delete the entire project to retrieve space.
I just ulpdated to 12.5.1, I have a hope the cloud problems were fixed ... no
it's a nightmare !!! I created a project with only one track of 2 minutes, my cloud is at this moment at 97% full

And since this afternoon, I can't open a session, crash on crash on crash ...
this is my first session made entirely on pro tools ... heu sorry not 'pro' for me just 'tools' and I doubt ...

It seems like the v12.5.2 works well now with the cloud here.
