If I had made a wishlist, a Matchless, XTC and JTM-45 would have been on it. So this sounds like a pretty sweet upgrade to me. And I'm all for paying for it, especially if it helps make add-ons like these become a regular occurrence...

Guess that will be the NAMM announcement lol, I just hope Avid are sensible and compare the cost of the 11R + add-on pack and make sure it is still considerably cheaper then the Axe-Fx (who provide FREE updates)

Absolutely! the only other thing I might have wanted was user IRs-but they have added sooo much, I am certain I will never notice or care. I am stunned at how much they are providing in this pack/upgrade.

Well done Chris, Andrew, Hiro and everyone else involved. You guys absolutely ROCK!

I certainly hope the additional cost to my less than half a year old $900 purchase isn't going to make me regret not going with the AxeFX.

EDIT: Well...having just read the spec's...I see what I feared would be the case is exactly the case...I won't be able to take advantage of this expansion because, along with the additional purchase of the expansion pack, I can't afford a new computer. My three year old and well taken care of laptop just took a dump on me the other day and, although the Eleven Rack currently runs perfectly with my G5 PPC, spec's state Intel only. NOT HAPPY! NOT HAPPY! NOT HAPPY!

Oh, boo hoo none of my ideas were included . And we get a speaker emulation of a JC120 without a JC120 amp emulation!?! What's that about?

Still I have to say I am very happy with the inclusions - especially the Para EQ!!! Yes, very happy indeed .

Now for the $$$ ....

Quite an update! Too bad there isn't an ENGL amp included.
I too, wonder how much it will cost us ...

did everyone see this?

"the Eleven Rack Expansion Pack, a software add-on option for Eleven Rack"

located here http://www.avid.com/US/products/Elev...Expansion-Pack

and the system requirements at http://www.avid.com/US/products/Elev...m-requirements

Does this mean it is just a software add-on or a firmware update?
