Mac OS X 10.4.9 Qualified & Pro Tools Launch Error Help
June 8, 2007 — Mac OS X 10.4.9 now qualified with Digidesign products with Pro Tools 7.3.x software.
A known issue with Mac OS X 10.4.9 is that using Software Update to update your computer may cause Pro Tools to either crash or not open when trying to launch the application. If you choose to update to Mac OS X 10.4.9, or your Mac came with Mac OS X 10.4.9 preinstalled, please follow the instructions here: Mac OS X Requirements with Pro Tools Also linked from the Compatibility Information page in the Support section and the "Compatibility" link at the top of the Digi User Conference.
