I am the Secretary of the Cinema Audio Society and can't say enough about what a terrific evening we have in store. The tickets are very reasonable and you don't have to be a C.A.S. member to attend!!! For info contact Laura at the C.A.S. office. Please tell her I sent you! I look forward to meet those of you who attend. There will be many high profile Re-Recording and Production Sound Mixers attending as well as studio heads from all the Lots.
Don't miss it as there is a limited amount of tickets and the location and food will be amazing!!!!!

To those of you who attended last nights gala, I think you would agree that it was a wonderful event. The location, the food and the ceremony along with hanging out and smoozing with our mixer friends was outstanding. Those of you who weren't able to attend really missed out. Hey Marti,

Gotta second your opinion on the C.A.S. awards banquet. It was a fine time, and the food really was good! Sorry I didn't get to meet you (I was with the Universal group, who got the President's award for restoration of the Kubrick films). Quite a nice, well deserved presentation for Gary Rydstrom as well.
