People have heard Ennio but not heard of him (big difference). He almost never gets talked about in the same way that John Williams or Vangelis gets talked about. People know Ennio's music from the spaghetti westerns but the composer doesn't come across their minds.


You'd be surprised where American (I hate the truncation to 'merica) country music gets played. Try Hong Kong before the handover.
