Audio not always locking when CTRL-moving across tracks
This is driving me crazy, please tell me what I'm doing wrong here.
I'm currently going through various vocal takes on different tracks. I simply want to move regions of audio onto a playback/chosen track, and have them locked in time when I move them. Holding CTRL *sometimes* works (ie. locks time while I move it onto another track), while other times, holding CTRL will make the region instantly jump in time. I don't understand how this sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. What am I doing wrong here, or is there a better method? Thanks.

Re: Audio not always locking when CTRL-moving across tracks
I've had this 'problem' also. It's why you don't hold the right click knob of your mouse long enough when you click it. If you click it once with the ctrl engaged, you activate another shortcut namely <Move region start to playhead.....Control click with Grabber Tool (in Slip Mode)>
I hope this helps other people too. br |
