Default Pro Tools 12.8.2 on Windows 7

Just wanted to give some feedback. I installed the newest version Friday (HD native) and have used it Fri, Sat, and Sun with no crashes yet. No issues so far. I was hesitant to install after reading about people's problems, but it appears that only people on Mac have reported issues here. Please share if your experience is different. Thanks!

Its been fairly good for me on Windows 10. The hiccups I get sometimes(either -9093 or -9173) have been happening with most versions of 12.x so no big change, and it seems to be either starting transport before Disk Cache has fully loaded, or softube Console 1

I have the occasional video engine error, but I think that's because of my mbox 3. Otherwise all good.

Finally had my first crash. Changed buffer from 1024 to 64 = BOOM. Already had done that a few times with no crashes. Thought they had it fixed.

Haven't had any crashes but I have gotten it to lock up when trying to change too many things too quickly on some of the more process intensive plugins. And since 12.5 I have had some weird gui errors with Waves plugsins..With 12.8.2 I suddenly have weird mouse pointer behavior only when accessing the I/O setup window but it doesn't affect operation.

I have two main problems, Access violations and also it hangs on Initializing Databases for 6 minutes on first start-up. Not to mention the blue screens when shutting down and the fatal errors. All running on a re-imaged drive from earlier this year that worked fine with 12.7.0. My advice is to avoid 12.8.2 and go back to 12.8.0.
