Default Anyone else having trouble updating Native Instruments

Hi,

I just upgraded to PT 12.7 HDX on OS 10.12.2. Yes, I know 10.12.1 is what is qualified, but good luck finding that when you want to upgrade through proper channels. PT 12.7 is running fine!

Bu I cannot update to the latest NI instruments using their own update center. Forums on NI have no answer either -- seems I am not the only one with this problem.

Have you tried logging into your NI account on the website and downloading the updates directly. At least this way you can run the installer directly and see if you get an error. You might get more info this way too.

Yes, I tried that the other day. There is no place to download Kontakt 5 - 5.6.5. There is a download of a .dmg in my Downloads folder, but when i open it, I get an error stating that I need the "Installation Folder" is not found.

I deleted all the NI .dmg's from my Downloads folder and ran NATIVE ACESS again. No luck.

Let me be clear, Kontakt 5 is working in 12.7, I just don't have a latest.

I wonder if NATIVE ACCESS is not Sierra compatible yet.

UPDATE: I figured it out. The path in NATIVE ACCESS was wrong. DOn't know how it got off, as it was right in the Service Center. When I pointed it to the right place, it worked.

That's something some people have run into - the older Service Center and Native Access don't always agree. For myself I'm staying away from the K5.6.x updates until NI goes back to the old keymap scheme instead of the little chiclets at the top; also until they fix the issues that some are having with not seeing some third party libraries in Kontakt. Then again I'm not running Sierra either.
