Default Re: Request: Exit Preview after Write command

Even ProTools' own tool-tip calls the button "write to selection". I consider this a bug by design.
The equivalent logic would be this: select nothing and hit command-option-/ and PT writes everything to all parameters across the entire timeline.
Luckily it doesn't happen because there's no selection. So why does "write to selection" in the automation window do this?

Anyway, beating a dead horse. It needs to be fixed. In the meantime GuardianAngel saves your life.
