Unhappy If it ain't broke, should I still fix it ?

I installed LE on my .003-Quad, and and M-Powered on my MBPro, and my previous sessions are working great.

Should I still un-install 7.4 & 8, and then trash & follow the troubleshooting suggestions?

1 issue is that I don't think I properly authorized my Music Production Toolkit. When I look at my iLok.com I do not see a "2", and in my ProTools folder I do not see a "2" after "Music Production Toolkit" ??? BUT...

I do have Eleven LE and Eleven Free, and Structure and...

I just installed .mp3, and it says 7.4 ?

I think I will un-install and re-install...and trash pref etc...

Welllll...I un-installed PT8 and 7.4, and re-installed 8, and everything seems fine, except I paid for a MPT-2, and I cannot get a proper .mp3 from Digi...

From Digi's website:

http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...&categoryid=34

Version Note
On Mac only, after installation the version will be listed as 7.4 for the MP3.bundle file installed for Pro Tools 8 in this location:
/Applications/Digidesign/Pro Tools/Codecs/MP3/
This is the correct version of MP3 Option for Pro Tools 8.0 on Mac OS.

The Windows version of the MP3 codec is version 8.0, located in Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Codecs\MP3\

Hope this helps,

tg
