Default PT 2020.5 PlugIn Window behaviour

Hi,
since 2020.5 I got this problem.
When I open a plug in window, the window closes automaticly when I click with the mouse into the arrange window.
this never happened bevor this release.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Any Idea?

OSX 10.13.6 / PT Ultimate 2020.5 / MacPro (late 2013) 8 x 3,0GHz

Which plugins do this? Avid or third party? What is the arrange window?
There is no such animal as a late 2012 Mac Pro. Maybe you mean late 2013?

It's important to see if it's all plugins or not. Time to do the standard troubleshooting of moving ALL plugins to the unused plugins folder, trash prefs and run PT and see what happens with the stock Avid plugins. I don't have that happening on my 2012 cheesegrater running OSX 10.13.6

Are you running EuCon in the background?

I don't have EuCon running on my home workstation here so without digging through the manual I can't remember exactly which preference might be doing this, but. . .
I'd suggest a close look at the EuCon settings app may lead you to a solution. There are preferences that shift attention between tracks/inserts based on where you click in the Edit window.

Thank you !
yes, thats it!
it only happened when my artist controller is on

I disabled the option "close windows on workstation when exiting" in the general prefs and now it also works fine when my controller is on.

Strange, I never changed something in the pref.
Thank you so much !

No problem, glad you found it. I had a similar panic when I was getting familiar with my new S1 recently.

This had been driving me crazy for the last several weeks after a new install. Thanks for pointing this out!
