Question MIDI latency NORMAL ???

Running PT 8.01 > G5PPC > Avid MIDI module > PC88.

I'm trying to record keys... to a drum track and there's a problem when playing that the timing doesn't line up ?? If I hit a key on the piano there's a delay flam affect on actual hit??? When I play the song back it doesn't line up???

hardware buffer sizes are in samples ie: 32, 64, 128, 512, 1024....

check out pages 365-366 in your reference guide.

It was at 2048 I turned it down to 256 which fixed the problem ......anything above 512 and you starting hearing the delay....
