Default MDW EQ 5.0 Native-DSP Compatibility?

I'm using the AAX-DSP version of MDW EQ 5.0. If I send sessions to someone who has only the NATIVE version, will they translate and open correctly?

I know that it is standard operating procedure for this to work in most cases. However, I seem to remember that there are some distinctions between the MDW AAX-DSP and AAX-Native licensing. Just want to be sure that this will work.

I did not try from system to system, but i do use MDW in AAX DSP in my HDX rig, and i do quite often change them from AAX DSP to native and i never had anny issues.

Hope this helps.

Yes, they'll open correctly. I started a session with MDW v5 on native HD and moved it to an HDX rig where it auto-changed to DSP and then moved it back to native HD. It was seamless changing from one to the other.
