Default Projectmix Line Inputs

I have seen a couple of posts around that have said that the projectmix has a line input of -10. But on the specs it says that the max input is +10dBu on balanced inputs (7.8dBV unbalanced). That would mean that it would be able to handle up to 2.449V RMS (2.455V RMS unbalanced). Am I wrong to think that these inputs can handle a +4 signal? How about a -10 input? Thanks!
