Default Protools Settings - Tutorial

Hy
Is there a tutorial to regulate protools playback engine.
I upgrade to snow leopard and add 8G dimm memory.
And i have always the same memory buffering alert.
I would like to use rewire instrument like Live Ableton (many problems with it..).
Does it possible to work with protools 8 (on snow leopard) : put reverb, delay different settings for intrument track, have Live Ableton open, and record instrument like guitard, bass and sometime have a video track without buffering crash alert ?
Does protools can be useed like this ?

Please help ... I know i'm just a protools LE.

Thanks

At the very least, you need the latest updates found here

I could be wrong, but I think most of this is growing pains with Snow Leopard. Hopefully, Avid and Ableton will have updates soon.

thanks albee1952
Pro Tools 8.0.3pr Snow Leopard Prerelease (no longer available).

I do not know which is the problem : first Protools was not avaible with leopard and now snow leopard.
I bought one 003 Factory and it was not compatible yet with my mac.

I would like to know which version of protools and mac were stable.
