Another Member's experience of Click 11's erratic behaviour:

http://duc.avid.com/showpost.php?p=2366263&postcount=1

"Hey my click track is only clicking once then stopping in protools 12. Actually protools is running slow in general. Is anyone else experiencing this?"

Can't repro, so will reply to http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=379409 about that issue.

Just getting back to everyone with an update:

The provided workaround has enabled me to continue using 12.5.1 error free during usual workflows for a couple weeks now.
I'm glad that, by just eschewing the click track, I can use the latest version while awaiting a fix.

Thanks to tech support for the email and to Jeffro for his assistance in escalating the matter.
It has helped me remain a content customer.

Regards,
Mike

P.S. I recently purchased some Toontrack MIDI drum files and added some nice time keepers to my new project/tracking template.*
I prefer some basic hat, kick & stick when recording guitar anyway.
Just set the tempo and I'm ready to roll.

* I usually track to Steven Slate Drums triggered via MIDI patterns.

This -9173 error is messing up all my sessions.
It happens so many times.
Avid has just lost my trust.
There is another monster bug called "over more than one hundred plugins".
When you launch Pro Tools a crash will happen because of the number of plugins on your is over one hundred.
Avid knows about it. So far nothing has been done by the maker of Pro Tools.

Kam Lion,

Are you serious about the plugin bug? haven't encountered this.

Sounds similar to the issue fixed in 12.5.1:
  • Click II plug-in no longer causes UI freezes when open
Or is this a new issue? Thanks!
Working fine here I think. I'm using elastic audio too and it helped check some tracks timing which came out fine using X form.
