Default Re: Waves v7 buggy?

Me too!! G5 2.5Ghz HD3 Accell Rig Mercury Bundle Tiger 10.4.11: I had to get a Temporary v6 license from waves as my ilok was all v7 a while back!! I have since upgraded again to the latest release which I believe is v7r5 and am testing this out in a full edit project and not a full mix project, so far so good, I also always run my Dorrough 360 on a master 5.1 and prior to this latest release I'd get constant protools freezes.
I also came across some weird glitch with Rverb where your audio would loop itself in the reverb trail! + a host of other issues with other plug-ins.
I freaking hate being a Guinea Pig to these software manufactures, you would hope they'd test this stuff out properly prior to release and not cause their paying customers grief!

I have not run the C1 comp/gate yet, I usually run those on my dialog tracks so I'll find out soon enough if it's buggy or not, I'll keep youse all posted.

BTW, waves recommends if your on Tiger to Run 10.4.11 and not 10.4.9 as Digi suggests!

Also just a suggestion have yourselves a SuperDuper Backup of a fully operational system just in case. I have a full system backup of my tiger drive with waves V6 on it, so if anything starts to get funky I'll can swap back in no time.

I also tried the waves v7r3 on Leopard and kept it crashing PT7.4.2 have not tried since.

O' Yea, as far as know if your ilok is at V7 you cannot run V6 waves plug-ins, you have to get in touch with waves directly and downgrade!!
