Default This Old Chestnut - Read recorded SMPTE

Does anyone here know of something that will read 59.94df SMPTE being output from a ProTools audio track? I only need to be able to read the address. A reader plugin would be ideal, but a stand-alone solution that would read an audio track routed from a ProTools output would work, too. Does the SYNC HD work as a stand-alone reader? My old Lynx don't read 59.94df.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Not sure if this helps, but I seem to remember Nuendo could do this.

If you’re just looking for something to read the time, there’s this.

https://timecodesync.com/monitor/

Or this

The entire line of MOTU audio interfaces come with a little app called MOTU SMPTE Setup.
I own a MOTU 4Pre and its driver installs this app (though I have never used it).
The idea is that you can use any MOTU i/o device as a standalone SMPTE reader/generator.
Might be a cheap external hardware solution (certainly cheaper than a SYNC HD / SYNC X).

Hope this helps.

I recently found this standalone app called TimeCode Monitor by Haute Technique Tools https://timecodesync.com/monitor/
In Pro Tools I put the source nexus plugin on that track then tell TimeCode Monitor to look at that. It would then read the timecode audio track. I would then spot the audio files to that location and set a User Timestamp.
It gets me in the ball park.
It works on Mac or PC.
