Default Pro Tools not recognizing HD Omni

I haven't been in my studio for a few days. Today when I booted Pro Tools it said it could not find the interface and to check my digi link cable, etc.
Everything is exactly as I left it but it doesn't even see my HD Omni. I have powered off/on/ re-seated digi link still nothing.
I have a 2x2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Mac, running 10.6.8
PT vs 9.0.3

Any ideas??

Try this.

A colleague of mine had the same problem just the other day and the above link did the trick. Hope that helps.

have tried everything... reset, re-seating card, un-installing then re-installing various versions of pro tools (9.0.1, 9.0.2, 9.0.3), deleting preferences, repairing disc permissions, ticking and unticking pro tools aggregate and system I/Os.... what else can i do!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!

this is driving me insane.. the HD omni simply will NOT be recognised by Pro Tools...

any ideas???

10.6.8 is not officially qualified yet. It breaks the HD Native card's ability to communicate with the operating system.

You can update to Pro Tools 9.0.4 which contains new firmware for HD Native. There's one catch: you have to update the firmware on a 10.6.7 system. You can also try another slot in your Mac Pro if you don't have a simple way to go back to 10.6.7.
