This bug has been around for nearly 3 years as far as I can see. I find it astonishing that it remains unsolved. It's still here in 2020.11.0
Editing in Stereo in playlist view is a complete disaster for fast workflow. Playback glitches every time you make an edit whilst playing back. |

I'm just seeing a post on this issue for the first time. Do you have a link to a better/full description of the problem? Also, without seeing your setup, it's hard to know what's going on with your system.

Yeah it's still there, I did a thread about it here http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?p...13#post2567413
Annoyingly I've had the same type of "playback momentarily pause" on 2020.11 doing some sort of edit - I haven't quite identified what it is yet! - that has nothing to do with playlists... |

Has anyone submitted a support case and provided a test session? Has anyone been able to report clearly reproducible steps to get this issue to happen?
If no one ever submits it and gets it accepted as a bug report, you can’t expect that it’ll magically get fixed.

Tried to reproduce it here. Works as expected. No interrupted Audio while editing underlying clips in playlist view.

Ok so here's an example, didn't actually take very long to get the fault on my system.
1. New session 2. 16 new stereo tracks, use signal generator to create audio 3. On first track, view "playlists" and then create say 5 new playlists on that track, with audio on them 4. Now even just separating a clip within any viewed playlist will create a momentary dropout in audio. As will moving the audio, etc etc. Any edits on the other tracks operate as normal, i.e. no dropout. Here's a cheeky little vid to demonstrate : https://youtu.be/7bVel0CUXPg |
