Purchase Pro Tools 9 Upgrade? Where?
PT 11 is upon us I realize but I am still operating at PT 8.0.5. Thinking of finally upgrading a step to PT 9 HD for Mac before moving on to PT 11 next year with a new Mac Pro. I cannot, however, find a link anywhere on the Avid audio site to purchase this "Legacy" product of 9.0 which you need to have before upgrading further to 9.0.6.
Ideas anyone? Thanks

Skip it for HD. Version 9 offered next to nothing over 8.0.5HD. If you really want a worthwhile update, 10HD is the way to go. Otherwise, stick with 8 and make some music

You know you need a HD license in order to upgrade to any HD version and I think the OP only has a Vanilla PT license.
When jumping to PT11 you get PT10 aswell so getting an old copy of PT9 seems rather pointless seeing that PT10 is a Huge step up and not to mention PT11
