Difficult to use Zip disks
Because in PT 6, you cannot eject a Zip disk without quiting PT. ie if PT is running and you insert a Zip to transfer samples, you cannot eject it until you quit PT. This seems to be because PT writes DigiBase information to the disk and does not release it. Could you check this out? Thanks.
Just for the heck of it, I also experience these problems with PT6/24|Mix: Sometimes spontaneously a chip is allocated to Plug-in sharing with a use of 0% and cannot be released. The only way to fix is to allocate all chips and reopen the file. Sometimes all outputs spontaneously become extremely bright and clipped sounding. Even when bouncing a file down, the file will have these characteristics. Restarting PT fixes this. |

Re: Difficult to use Zip disks
In PT6 to eject a zip or cd go to the workspace browser...click on the zip or cd... pull down "suitcase" iconed menu top left and choose unmount, zip disk will fly out of the drive like bread out of a toaster
(Check the the DigiBase manual for all the cool stuff you can do in the workspace/project browsers) |
