Protools LE for XP - Sound Card
I have an internal sound card on my motherboard. My sound works fine with the wave driver when i use PT LE, but when I try to set my default sound drivers to Wave driver - it does not show up as an option in the drop down list - just my default driver. If I disable the default driver in the BIOS will it then see my wave driver - or is this a problem with XP or with particular mother boards or sound cards?
Thanks, dave

Re: Protools LE for XP - Sound Card
In order for the Digi001 to be recognized in the Sounds and Audio Deivces Control Panel, you must install Wave Driver v5.3.1.
You should only proceed with the Wave Driver installation _after_ you have installed PT LE v5.3.1. You may download both the Wave Driver and step-by-step instructions (via the “PT LE 5.3.1 Addendum” Guide) at the following link: http://www.digidesign.com/download/winup.html Brent |
