PreSonus Digimax interface problems

I'm running from Digimax optical out to Digi 002R optical in. My mic signals are getting to the Digimax, but only spiky poops and clicks in PT. Yes, I did check to make sure the sample and bit rates were matched.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. A c.c. to [email protected] would also be of help.

Did you select the ADAT input as the clock source on the 002?

you also need to hook up the 002 optical out to the digimax optical in.

the light needs to go in both directions.

If it's a DigiMax LT it only has lightpipe out.

Not if you're just going from the Digimax to the 002. You can clock the 002 to the ADAT input just fine, you don't need to send anything back out.
