Default Fast Track Ultra (and 8R) on OSX 10.9

Hello there,

I have some issues with the Fast Track Ultra and Fast Track Ultra 8R.
First of all, the uninstaller dont work on Mavericks. There is always a "error 5364"

Second Problem:
The System Audio works fine with Fast Track Ultra and Fast Track Ultra 8R (e.g. using Safari with Youtube). I'm using the latest 2.2.2 Drivers on Mavericks, the 2.2.1 works also fine (drivers with the old interface) with System Audio.

But any other software which want access to the interface (VOX Music Player - worked on 10.6.8, or Logic, Mainstage...), has no output in software returns or hardware outputs.

The Interface is set correctly in Preferences.

So, when using Safari, everything works. When i start Logic, Safari already running, Logic reserves the Audio on the Interface and there is no output again on software returns. At the same time I change the Output in Logic (or everything else that has to load preferences for the interface), the Safari output works until Logic reserves the audio (/interface) again.

So, while Logic (or any other App which reserves the audio for the interface) is running or not, Hardware Inputs are working correctly the whole time. When I set the volume for hardware inputs, it goes directly to the hardware ouputs and master out.

Are there any beta drivers yet? Or do you know when Mavericks Drivers for Fast Track Ultra will be released?

I'm having the exact same problem. At one point after restarting and rebooting my fast track ultra I had sound briefly. Then it was gone.

Running Logic X with Fast Track Ultra on MacBook Pro with Mavericks.

Never had a problem until installing Mavericks.

At this time the un installers are a known issue with OSX 10.9 and there is no timetable when an update will be out and ready for download... Sorry for the issues but as always when Apple updates their OS the best practice is not to update your Primary system until it has been properly qualified with all of your DAW applications. As soon as an update if available the announcement will be made in the Technical Alerts Section of this forum. I have reverted to OS 10.8 on my main audio system to prevent these "RANDOM" errors from happening...

What is the method that you used to revert to the prior OSX? I've seen different ways to do this... What do you think is the easiest way?

Thanks for the heads up. With the driver uninstaller not working could that be directly related to the issues we're experiencing? I'm new to MAC so I didn't really know any better and my friend said his M Audio worked just fine with Mavericks after the update. I guess it's only impacting some Fast Track users.

Thanks again.

I have a USB stick that I boot my Mac from so that's how I reverted...

Thanks. I'm not sure how or if I'm going to revert just yet.
