Yeah I know..
I already bought Structure and my plan was of course to buy Goliath.
I make my own samples too and for that Structure is great.
I left music in the mid 90´s for post.
With PT8, I got some music inspiration back so I´m integrating some music production into my biz.

Back then...it was S1000 all over, readymade sample libraries was not very common the way they are today.
The thing for me is...I don´t have any huge EXS or Giga libraries...
I´m building it up as from today

None of the competitors seems to work good in PT8 and that´s why I got Structure.
I just want to know if it´s a dead end street before I invest too much work in it.

Russ over at the Airblog is doing a great job trying to keep us happy with their free Structure sound sets, but I feel I need some kind of sign from Digi that Structure eventually will be able to use third-party libraries.

All the best..

Not if you measure the speed of which Goliath loads into K3 and compare it with Structure. You could load the whole lib into K3 10 times, and have written 10 songs by the time Structure has loaded it once.

That aint fine with me.

Much appreciated, I am really looking forward to wednesday

Okay, so now it's 9:00 a.m. in Daly City. The meeting was yesterday. Unless the response from the AIR people at yesterday's meeting was: "Duh...we didn't know about this...I guess we'll have to go figure something out," then there should have been a general consensus as to what they would be communicating today. I will be extremely disappointed if we don't hear something by noon PST today.

Unless the whole Wizoo Team, now AIR, upped an physically moved their domicile to Daly City, then they are still very much on European time, to be specific: Bremen, Germany time. And in Germany, the time is now 6:08 PM.

But like I said in my earlier post from today, we will have to wait n see what happens today.

Not to me. . . it sounds good and has some decent patches but the load time seems so 80's. . . and frankly I will try 2 or three other things before I try and open up structure.

It doesn't seem right that I think twice before using a sampler made by digi...

Well, I think that time has proven that this software is made by AIR and definitely not digidesign...

As far as I remember, and I am like and Elephant in that matter, SampleCell II was really great and something to depend on. As things stand today, I'd rather buy an old mac, install OS 9 along with some sample cell cards for $3 before I use Structure. Come to think it, I think Expand, which is not my favorite at all, is much more useful as Structure is, in its current state.
