Default Will my rig run PT2019?

I'm just wondering if anyone else who has my setup is running 2019? I know requirements are padded for safety reasons and often they say it won't run when others are in fact, running it successfully.

I have a mid 2012 MacPro 5,1, with 12 cores 2x2.4 6 cores each, running High Sierra 10.13.4 and am easily running PT 12.8.3HD on an HDX card and HD I/O 8x8x8 with an ATI Radeon HD5770 w/1024mhz card. 32 gigs of memory.

I guess I need Mojave as well so wonder if that will run also. Would appreciate hearing from any users who might be running PT19 with a similar setup. Thanks.

A) You don't need Mojave. And with the 5770 graphics card, it might be a bad idea anyway

B) You should update your High Sierra to 10.13.6 (last version of High Sierra) through the App Store

C) Yes, your system will run 2019.5 just fine. (all HDX cards will get a firmware update so be prepared to let that happen when you first run 2019.5; it will show up and give you instructions)

Been away from studio so I have not upgraded yet but have been actively investigating doing so with my system (below)

Quickly computer should work fine

Do not "need Mojave"

You will need to upgrade graphics card to run Mojave

PT2019.5 and Mac 5,1 running HDX under the last version of High Sierra, has been the best combo to date, so update with confidence.

CPU usage is massively improved on third party plugin's that hogged cores, it's now very even, and minimal.

Personally this performance optimisation alone has been worth the years subs.
