I've been using the plug for so long I'm used to it. As long as it doesn't come with another slew of bugs I'd be fine with it.

Carl, do a google search about ARA integration in Studio 1 and you know what's it all about.

I own Studio 1 actually and I tested that aspect of it. I didn't know that was what ARA integration is until I read the posted link.

Its cool. I work well with the plugin.

Just watch this vid and you'll understand !

It makes Melodyne work even perfect with your DAW. Just like almost It's a tool from the daw and not a plugin.

It's the one reason why I keep S1 around. The ARA with Melodyne and VocAlign is insanely easy to use. Editing stacks of vocals can be done in half the time.

I'm waiting on my Faderport 8, primarily to use with Pro Tools, but the integration with S1 (as expected) is said to be superb.

Have you guys worked with DP's built in tuner? It's great! Super fast and easy. PT being compatible with ARA technology would practically have the same workflow as DP. That'd be just plain awesome.

DP's graphic tuning is the best...I miss it. And I prefer to Melodyne.

DP is great for that but melodyne does take it a step further. I find it more transparent. Protools expert has a neat trick for all the Melodyne users. Right click on Melodyne and choose commit up to this insert. Choose “do nothing” at the bottom of the dialog window. Once this runs through (much faster then real time) delete the newly created track and start working :)
