Could Someone Please Answer This Question...
Is it possible to route individual sounds from a virtual instrument such as Spectrasonics’ Stylus into Pro Tools and record them simultaneously on multiple tracks (i.e. Track 1 – Kick drum, Track 2 – Snare drum, Track 3 – Hi-hats, etc.)? If so, how?
System Specs OS – Windows XP Professional Motherboard – ASUS 7N8X-E Deluxe Processor – AMD Athlon XP 3200+ RAM – 3 GB Video Card – ATI RADEON 9800 XT 256MB Dual Monitors – 2 Sony 19” LCD monitors Internal Hard Drives – 2 Maxtor 120GB 7200RPM External Hard Drives – 1 Maxtor 200GB 7200 RPM (Firewire/USB 2.0) CD/DVD Drives – 1 Sony CRX300E, 1 Sony CRX225E, 1 Sony DRU510A Power Supply – Zalman 400W Keyboard/Mouse - Logitech Cordless MX DUO

Re: Could Someone Please Answer This Question...
Either put the different sounds on different midi channels in Stylus and then create several midi channels with different Stylus outputs corresponding to the different midi channels, or
Insert several instances of stylus on separate Aux Tracks, and then set up a different midi channel for each instance of Stylus. Put the different Stylus instruments on each Aux track insert and rec enable all the midi channels. If you want to print them as audio, for option 1 or 2, just route the Auc Chennel output buss to a separate Audio Channel Input Bus. Rec enable all the Audio channels and hit record.
