I don't know for sure because I don't own one but there have been some threads on here that say yes. It does it through Mackie HUI emulation. Incidentally, I think the faders are not touch sensitive, and for a little more the mackie baby hui's are. Baby HUI

It does work if you have the latest cs updates installed. My local dealer has it working on a G5 in the store.

Yes it works!
Some small caveats: you need to update the firmware to 1.07 and then use the supplied Mackie Baby HUI mode.

One thing that had me stumped for a while was why PT didn't see the BCF. I then found out that you need to copy the controller files from the CD to the install.

The files go into Program Files\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Controllers. This is documented incorrectly in the Midi Controllers PDF, but it is explained correctly by the knowledge base.

The faders on the BCF fly and it can control quite a few parameters like sends and pan, etc.
Also it switches from mix to edit at the touch of a button. Cool! And of course it has Play/Stop/FF/Rew as well as Rec enable, Solo, Mute etc.

According to Behringers template it should also be possible to control automation modes etc., but I've had no success there as yet. Anyone else perhaps?

One small niggle: there is a nice virtual Mackie display (emulated on the computer screen) but that doesn't work (yet?) with the Baby HUI mode. Oh and the faders seem to move much smoother in Sonar with the supplied Mackie for Sonar emulation.

All in all a pretty good experience...

I have just bought a BCF2000 for use with an MBox, and I cannot find the controllers folder in the location shown above. I have tried copying the hui driver to all sorts of places within the digidesign folders, but protools refuses to recognise it in the peripherals setup page. Does anyone have any ideas?

Does it work for plug ins control too? Or you still have to tweak them with the mouse?
Also, anybody knows if the BCR 200, the rotary encoder, also works within Pro Tools (for plug in parameters)?

Thanx

L.G.
