OT Guitar Jam Contest
For those interested, we had a lot of fun with an on-line jam contest in the past. Here is another chance for all you shredders. George is a great guy, a huge guitar talent and recording artist, and I'm sure this will be fun.
Check out <www.georgebellas.com> on the web pages "News Section". <<Recording Contest: Enter to win "The George Bellas Instructional Series" CD ROM guitar course. How to win: Download a Jam Track provided by George Bellas; Record your own solo on top of the track; Send it back for George and a panel of judges to decide on the winner! Contest rules will be posted at the start of contest. The contest is scheduled to begin in October 2004 - so get practicing!>> Dan

Re: OT Guitar Jam Contest
Just a question, whats the purpose of the person who wins the contest getting an instructional guitar course? Not trying to make fun of the contest, it'll be really fun.

<<...person who wins the contest getting an instructional guitar course? >>
Thats a good point. All I can say is check out some of this guys quitar instruction content. He has a lot of 'teaser' material available on line. Believe me, this is not your typical Mel Bay material. On the other hand, I sure the winner could voluntarily contribure his winnings to the loser.... and Ralph K, I visited your site and I see you are no stranger to shread. As I'm sure you would agree "shread is not dead". Those who can still do.... I'll look forward to hearing both of your submissions. Dan
