Workin on it still. I can load the 3 GB switch but it seems like it runs slower OR I get clicks and pops on bigger Vi's. When I take it off I am stable.

you used the /userva too right?? and when you get the clicks/pops how much ram does it say PTLE is usin'?

Nice... I'll do the 3gb switch(even though i only have 2gb ram) to see if it fixes my DAE memory is too low problem..(even though the system is only using 1gb ram when i get the message.

I am showing about 1.5GB and it sounds like the samples are dropping out of all the VI's

probably won't boot with that amount of ram if you use the /3gb switch. i'd be careful editin' the boot.ini unless you gotta a backdoor in case it does not boot. just sayin'...

I have to agree with this as I've seen problems with systems running only 3G of RAM trying to use the 3gb switch. The best results seem to be with systems running 4G of RAM and higher.

I can always MiniPE in and edit the boot.ini if it gets messed up...
