Default what\'s best with imac?

I am using an imac G3 500mhz. i'm looking at either the mbox or the motu 828. I realize there is a significant cost difference but that isn't a concern. I want the system that is going to last the longest and perform the best. Is usb on mbox too limiting? I know this isn't a fair comparison but they are my only options as another computer isn't an option. I'd really appreciate any feedback.

If you want the best system get rid of the mac and go with the PC. I assume this is the type of answer you want considering you are in the PC forum.

Dump the Mac then treat yourself to some Steak & Lobster with the money you save.

Keep the mac, and be happy that you don;t have to figure out what irq you need to set it to. Seriously though, go with the motu. If money isn't a problem, that thing is realllll nice.

I-Cheese!

(I couldn't help it. It's Miller time.)

Hop over to the Mac 001/M-Box forum... there are some interesting threads about the M-Box over there...
We don't know from M-Box 'cause they're Mac only at this point, not that it bugs US over here.
