Bluetooth and Instability?
Can use of an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse cause this kind of problem? My Mix system is comically unstable some days, with a half dozen kernel panics and unexpected Pro Tools quits in a single session. I have tried the usually suggested items of trashing databases and prefs, and repairing permissions. What I have not done, though, is to eliminate use of bluetooth. Turning off bluetooth is often mentioned as necessary by some.
I also worry that part of the instability may relate to use of a Gefen Cat 5 usb extender that permits remote placement of a bluetooth transmitter/receiver. It's this bluetooth usb adapter that ties in with the bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Thanks, John Caldwell

Re: Bluetooth and Instability?
No problems with Bluetooth here but if you are having lots of problems, it is best to eliminate absolutely everything you can to narrow down the problem. Disconnect absolutely everything you can and start adding things to see if anything makes it worse. Good luck finding the problem.
