Ivory II Sustain Pedal Problem...

Hi,

I have no idea what's causing this but the sustain pedal seems to be releasing at random times. My actual keyboard audio sustains correctly...anybody provide me some insightful info as to what could be causing the sustain to be releasing too early?

Is this during recording with MIDI Merge enabled? If so, it's very likely that you're experiencing the MIDI Merge bug.

Thanks it was exactly that. I did find that the bug still occurs in LOOP RECORD mode, even with the midi merge "greyed out" / disabled. Weird right? You have to put the track into quickpunch mode and disable midi merge and it works correctly! Really weird bug. Did they fix this with 12?

This has not yet been fixed, no. I truly hate this bug. It's been around for ages.

Thats why I use Digital Performer when I need to record a midi piano session. As a pianist it drives me crazy . I thought they wanted to improve the midi experience with their product over the years. I guess no one listens or cares.
