Mbox 2 driver problem(I think?), pro tools 10, Mountain Lion
Hey guys,
I had been running PT LE 7.4 with an Mbox 2 on a PC. My PC finally kicked the bucket so I recently bought a mac mini and crossgraded to PT 10. I download the most recent drivers I could find for the Mbox 2, which where: •9.0 (Aug 2, 2012) I finally got the Mbox to appear in the Audio/MIDI setup, and everything seemed to be going well. After I did completed a brief test recording I exited pro tools and the system audio on my mac was not working, I couldn't play itunes or any other audio. I tried to go back into pro tools and noticed that the Mbox 2 lights were dimmed similar to when it is plugged in and the drivers aren't installed. Whenever I restart my computer the Mbox 2 appears ready to go but if I run any other programs before entering pro tools it usually won't work. Anyway does anyone know what my problem may be? Is the Mbox 2 compatible with the latest Mac OS mountain lion? Do I need to adjust my I/O settings? Any help is appreciated. |
