///ozone mastering tips

Hello i am currently using massey L2007 with a maxim plug for mastering i am knew to these plugs and really happy now getting better results then on my tdm mixcube 5.3.1 system that was using masterx5 but this is the question i installed the ozone 3 lite that came with my ignition pack and you can only use the presets can't tweak the maximizer or any parameter like most demos so does anybody work with some of those presets because they seem harsh :: the best one is intelligent maximizer but i get squash and tomp (massey&maxim is better)!!! anyway i just want to look at this while i am making some final decisions for a new project and the first on LE for me.

ps: it/s funny how old record you always want to turn the sound up i mean way up and with the new cd mentality as loud as possible must be on this cd it's like when that stuff comes on you want to turn it down right away seems like a reflex well anyway still curious about ozone some people seem to get +12 db more then anybody heres an artist below who uses ozone check track 2 (like i said when that stuff comes on you want to put it down right away but the ozone skills is of interest to me right now while i am finishing a project). thx

Download the Ozone 4 demo it gives you full functionality and tons more presets to start you off. Get it from iZotope.

Or you could just buy the full version. For it's price tag, it's well worth it. I don't use the presets normally, though some do sound pretty good. I like the Harmonic Exciter.
