I waited a year before upgrading to 8. I thought they would have all the bugs fixed. I bought 8 about 4 months ago. Are they going to keep working on 8?

Same issue here, purchased my licence in september!
But I'll bet they now abandon pt 8, for pt 8.5 (pt 9).

Another 350 bucks...

but not to AVID,,,

if everybody shells out more bread for the company....so they can pay some bills and maybe even drive the stock up.

but at some point you have to be customer friendly to the PROs who have supported you for decades now...now the bedroom wannabe crowd.
