warning: year-old thread bump.

Wondering if you ever solved this issue? Seeing it on my system too - it doesn't even matter if PT is running, if I get more than 1 channel showing audio in the mixer, it slows to a laughable crawl. I see other people with this problem but there is no solution from Lynx, and Sierra came out in September 2016. Lynx forum is going to be shut down it seems. Does anyone think it is worth trusting this company to ever fix its software issues? Feels like they simply do not have the resources to support their products properly, which makes no sense given how ridiculously expensive they are. I am at the point of selling my card

1) my Lynx Mixer only crawls when PT is working or some heavy video content is being watched via Browser ..

2) Lynx Forum Closing, bummer

3) which Card do you have ??

Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply. The jumpy behaviour for me happens with only 5 channels displaying signal in the mixer. This is even with *no apps running*. Quite astounding. As well as this the mixer uses up 50-100% of a CPU core when it's displaying meter animations, on any OSX version. None of this should happen with a soundcard mixer, it is so incredibly disappointing. The card is the absurdly expensive AES16e-50.
