I CANT REMOVE PT 6.1.1

I have it on an XP SP1 machine, I have already erased the Digidesign folder from "Program Files" manually, but it still appears on Add & Remove Programs . When I click on "Change/Remove" it doesnt do anything, ITS ALWAYS THERE .

What can I do to make it dissappear ? please ..

You should have used ADD/REMOVE programs to uninstall it in the first place..You could reinstall it, and then use ADD/REMOVE programs to uninstall it..That would be the simplest method.

man oh man did you mess it up. I hate it when people don't just uninstall crap, it buggers up your registry.

You'll have to open Regedit.exe, the traverse to HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall and delete the registry key where DisplayName is the name of the program that is listed. If you are not comfortable manually removing items from the registry, then don't do it.

Otherwise you can reinstall the program and uninstall it using add/remove.

OK, its done. I have done an upgrade to 6.4 and its running well.
